Diorama Rosenbahn part 2

Diorama built by Rosenbahn part 2

The diorama built is now making good progress. Decided is to replace the large signal box for a smaller one.

The rail track is ballasted with fine ballast gravel from Polak and treated with 2 shades weathering pigment powder colour rust from Vallejo. The roadside is also provided with grass. First a layer of green turf is applied and after drying the grass fibers are applied with the electrostatic grass applicator. The fiber length of the grass fiber is 3mm, 4mm and 5mm and 3 different grass colors are used.

The rails are also provided with ballast in the railway terminus at the end of the shuttle track and the rust tones have been applied. Travelers have already the idea that the train is coming and are waiting on the platform.

They ending track is protected with a buffer block.

Sheep are already on the grass and eating it short.

The first freight train arrives at the line.
