Locomotive depot

23 december 2013

The Rosenbahn Locomotive depot:

The locomotive depot at the Rosenbahn contains all the necessary elements for the steam locomotives. Due to the limited space it has become quite full, but it also affects the overall appearance of the track not. The only thing missing is a slag pit, which unfortunately was no room for more.

At this Loc depot we find Locomotives shed, a sand bunker with sand store, a small coal storage with crane, a watercrane with swing arm, a compressor house, a sawmill, followed by a loading platform with a single track and surmounted by a crane and a large coal bunker surmounted by a large crane which stands above two tracks. This large coal bunker with crane is from manufacturer Kibri and item number 39420. Weathering took place with Acrylic paint to remove the plastic look of the parts.

Overview English pages

Little by little, this forms part of the track into a whole scenery.
